SOLASTALGIA AND “THE” STATE OF MY BEING

It has been an overwhelming state of my being, while researching to collect environmental catastrophic destruction data across the world – since the last 7 plus years and especially, since April 2026 in particular. My heart cries watching destruction across the nations and my mind goes berserk in an emotional roller coaster ride of bewilderment, anger, empathy, emotional breakdown and not forgetting my duty as a global citizen towards Planet Earth.

The deep impact and scars left within me is really hard to elucidate – trust me no one will be able even to imagine what goes within my heart and mind – All-in-all to generate environmental disaster awareness among professionals and readers alike. I have had multiple bouts of “Writer’s Block” and “Depression”, and yet, I have maintained to keep ‘zerobeyond – the new frontier!’ maintain its monthly frequency with my editorials, interviews and current world view unhindered to the state of my being.

May 2026 alone has unleashed 191 catastrophes across 56 nations – Professionals across the world – the architects, urban planners, landscape architects, environmental planners and consultants, structural and civil engineers, policymakers, environmental and climate scientists, researchers, world leaders and especially the Billionaires’ Club of Corporation along with the global citizens open your eyes and conscience!

Look, look at this unprecedented numbers and ask yourself – what is the real intention and “the” ambition of your GREED? ASIA BEARS THE BRUNT: 81 catastrophes in just one continent means Asia was hit nearly three times every single day of the month. It highlights the massive human scale of this crisis.

THE “DEVELOPED” DELUSION: North America and Europe tied at 45 catastrophes each completely eviscerates the lie that wealthy nations can build a wall against climate devastation. No amount of money or infrastructure saved them in May 2026.
