ZEROBEYOND’s 2024 TOP 10 GEN Z Interviews

Our niche – ‘The GEN Z Series’ – to promote the younger generation with their remarkably outstanding design creations has been acclaimed by not only the younger lot, but also all the renowned professionals from all over the world. It has been an overwhelming journey to meet and interact with so many youngsters, who taught me a great deal about the architecture world. The year 2024 has seen some of the best of the best creativity unleashed on ‘zerobeyond – the new frontier!’ from all over the world.

No. 1: Ronel van Rhijn – Lunar Haven, Research Centre, Moon

From designing ‘Research Centre’ in Moon to ‘Rethinking the Urban Factory’ in Mohammedia, Morocco – these Top 10 young professionals have not only showcased their creativity, but also had shown great maturity with their compassionate thinking process while designing their theses. Hats off to these individuals for displaying their ‘humane’ side! I wish every architect will get priceless knowledge about designing projects from these passionate individuals.

No. 2: Gosha-E-Atfal, Karachi by Wardah Shakil

The stupendous success of our GEN Z Series has captured the hearts of youngsters and renowned professionals alike. The proposed theses have generated curiosity among senior professionals, because these youngsters are designing ‘Projects for the Future’ with their amazing imagination and understanding during their graduation and post graduation studies. We take great pride to see these youngsters moving up the ladder to some of the most renowned architectural firms in the world.

No. 3: Reimagining the Cultural Nexus, Lucknow by Bhavya Batra

Renowned British architect Angus Morrogh-Ryan, Co-Founder of De Matos Ryan, rightly states, “zerobeyond – the new frontier!’ seems to be a growing resource for the world of architecture, engineering and interior designing, which is a good reference point for sharing and learning how different people and different cultures approach sometimes similar and different challenges!”

No. 4: Comfort, Warmth and Dynamism by Aida Lafuente Borrego

It is indeed very interesting to see these younger professionals are more aware and knowledgeable about ‘Climate Crisis’. Their design creations are based keeping in mind the climatic catastrophes. Their understanding and perspectives to overcome urban flaws are more concrete and straightforward. Each design creation reflects their zeal to navigate unchartered territory in a practical manner.
