“Human Greed is the Architect of Earth Crisis!” – Johnny D
‘Earth Crisis’ is the BIG REALITY of our existence, while ‘Climate Crisis’ is the BIG MYTH that we all have been made to believe. Climate has been changing ever since we humans became educated to decipher how climate changes its pattern time and again. The term ‘Climate Crisis’ propagated by the UNFCCC is certainly not the appropriate term to describe ‘Earth Crisis’, because the ‘Human Greed Crisis’ has pushed our Planet Earth towards apocalypse. It has become very essential to shift the UN, MSM and Global Climate Scientific Communities’ “false narrative” towards the more appropriate and broader term “Earth Crisis”. It is the need of the hour!

EARTH CRISIS: WHY I REDEFINED ‘CLIMATE CRISIS’!
Root-Cause Diagnosis: Earth Crisis is not only because of the Fossil Fuel and Carbon Emission (as we have been made to believe), but also is the combination of multilayered issues that originated and is directly and indirectly linked to “Human Greed”. My quote above elucidates in just one simple sentence. ‘Climate Crisis’ focuses on symptoms like rising temperatures and extreme weather conditions etc. Dig a little bit deeper, using one’s common sense and logical thinking, to analyze the root cause of all the catastrophes – floods, landslides, earthquakes, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tornadoes, hailstorms, avalanches and haboob – are related to the ‘Human Greed’. In whole, it is the Earth that is in real crisis and not Climate.

Earth Crisis can be described in simple layman’s terms as exploitation and over consumption of natural resources that have disturbed the equilibrium of Planet Earth. It will not be wrong to say that ‘Earth Crisis’ is directly proportional to ‘Human Greed’. Many scholars, indigenous leaders and ecological economists have been stating these simple FACTS time and again. But, the Corporation, the Policymakers (UN, Climate Scientists Communities, MSM, Global Leaders and Elite Billionaires of the World) and the State are all hands in gloves – so the powerful propaganda has worked over many decades unhinged.

Broader Spectrum: ‘Earth Crisis’ is being seen everywhere, felt, experienced and being suffered by billions around the world 365 days of the year – in short – We humans have been breaching multiple ecological thresholds simultaneously to satiate our never-ending greed – it includes deforestation, biodiversity loss, pollution, mining, razing hills and mountains, rivers and oceans’ degradation, lakes, ponds and mangroves’ destruction, melting glaciers, unwanted wars destructing one nation after another – and yes, the use of Fossil Fuel and Carbon emissions. These are all hard facts and not the figmentation of the Climate Scientific Communities.

Accountability Shift: In our modern world, where we have all the “DATA” in the world available on our fingertips, our greed has made us all so-so nonchalant that we do not even care anymore about human greed catastrophes. No one really cares how many cities, villages, towns and nations are drowning daily killing thousands every single day and destroying trillions of dollars of property, cattle, human lives and babies across the world. The State has shed their responsibilities to safeguard their citizens, the Corporation, MSM – Misinformation Spreading Machine and the Global Scientific Communities are all busy propagating false narrative, so they can make more money to their never-ending greed. There is really no accountability whatsoever – so who cares? Yes, we all, including me are destroying our Planet’s ecosystems for profit – this is happening in a systematic manner with no moral conscience whatsoever.

Truth to Power: The term ‘Climate Crisis’ is greenwashing, tokenism and pure superficial policy response to mislead the world to believe in big lies. The truth is that ‘Human Greed’ drives everything that is happening in our world. No one on this earth can deny this hard fact. Truth can never be challenged with tonnes of lies – because ultimately ‘Truth’ will resurface from the heaps of lies. In recent times, all the so-called developed nations have been turned into “Third World Nations”, because of ‘Human Greed Catastrophes’ each month of the year.

I happen to be the first person in this world to coin the terms “Earth Crisis” and “Human Greed Crisis” to describe the global environmental catastrophes. The term “Climate Crisis” fails to capture the root cause of environmental degradation, attributed mainly by the unchecked human greed. Human greed has led to the destruction of natural landscapes and ecosystems, thereby accelerating the planet’s decline towards “Apocalypse”.

It is very essential for the Global Climate Scientific Communities to not only acknowledge the priceless views of various indigenous communities across the world, but also pay heed to their advice about environmental crisis, because from time immemorial – these indigenous communities view through a holistic and relational lens. They have always emphasized the interconnectedness of all life forms and the importance of maintaining balance with nature. For instance, many Indigenous cultures have long-held beliefs in the sacredness of the Earth and the responsibility of humans to protect and preserve natural resources for future generations. These perspectives highlight the moral and spiritual dimensions of environmental stewardship, offering valuable insights into sustainable living.

INFERENCE: My framing of the environmental crisis as an “Earth Crisis” driven by “Human Greed” offers a compelling critique of current environmental discourse. We all know that academic perspectives provide valuable insights into systemic issues, and Indigenous worldviews emphasize the spiritual and relational aspects of environmental stewardship. However, my approach is calling for a more direct confrontation with the moral and ethical dimensions of environmental degradation. My perspective challenges the global scientific communities to reconsider our values and responsibilities towards our Planet Earth, and sincerely urge a shift from exploitation to preservation.

My perspective is clear, direct and unapologetically rational. I cannot sugarcoat such a serious issue that concerns one and all – living and non-living. I am cutting through the complexity of environmental discourse and getting to the heart of the issue – the world may hate me for this article – but I just wish to tell to the whole world – I worry about the newborn babies, whose future is going to be CATASTROPHIC! Human greed is the driving force behind the Earth Crisis. It is our moral reckoning with the root cause of ecological destruction rather than just describing the mythical symptoms – like rising temperatures or extreme weather.

I have avoided jargons or layers of abstract theory and am getting straight to the heart of what needs to change: our societal values and economic systems. This no-nonsense stance can resonate with people who feel the urgency of the crisis, but find the broader discourse often clouded in technicalities. In many ways, it is about cutting through the political and economic distractions to get to what really needs to be done: accountability for the systems that are wrecking the planet.
In many ways, the term “Climate Crisis” has become just another “Marketing Term” used to sell solutions – such as carbon credits, green energy solutions, or eco-friendly products – that ultimately benefit corporations and governments without fundamentally changing the underlying systems that caused the crisis in the first place.
My redefinition of the issue as “Earth Crisis” not only demystifies the complex environmental problems, but also challenges one and all to think more critically, holistically, rationally and systemically about what’s at stake.
This narrative shift is crucial for real change – a change that requires questioning the dominant narratives, redefining the crisis and empowering individuals to demand true transformation at every level of the society.
