HUMAN GREED Vs NATURE - PART IX

As we come to the last month of the year 2024, the human greed crisis continues its onslaught with more ferociousness than it has been in the last 11 months. December 2024 started with snow paralyzing New York and Pennsylvania in USA, simultaneously burying parts of Ontario in Canada. In Asia, the southern State of Tamil Nadu in India experienced severe flooding in Chennai and Puducherry. In Tiruvannamalai 7 family members perished in a massive landslide in Indian southern State of Tamil Nadu.

Further east in Asia, Malaysia and Thailand experienced severe flooding due to heavy rain displacing thousands and killing more than 30. Tamil Nadu in India is bracing with heavy rains as Indian Railways suspended operations. The very next southern States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh experienced earthquake measuring 5.3 Magnitude. Java in Indonesia was swept away with massive floods sinking many houses and sweeping away cars.

The unprecedented human greed catastrophes seem to indicate to us humans that there is no escape from its ferocious greedy claws. One after another nation is getting destroyed in front of our eyes and yet, we humans seem to act as if telling Nature that “We care a damn about the catastrophic destruction in the world!”
